Presenting ‘Istanbul’ EP; Withoutside’s debut 4-track EP for Outtallectuals, based around the concept of weaving field recordings from unique locations in the world, with electronic and organic production techniques.

In this case, Withouside transforms ordinary, but captivating daily day sounds in the Turkish city of Istanbul. Using the call to prayer, street musicians, vendor’s rhythmic signatures, or the sound of waves on an intercontinental ferry crossing, the EP captures the sonic essence of this enchanted cosmopol and presents it in a fresh, creative context.
